Honorary Membership
- Honorary membership shall be granted to those individuals who are not graduate students, but have made a significant positive contribution to graduate student studies at the university by nature of their academic, administrative, or service excellence.
- Honorary members need not be enrolled for initiation.
- Honorary members must have unanimous approval of the active voting members of the society and shall be limited to no more than two (2) initiates per semester.
- For chapters requiring more flexibility, candidates must at least meet the specified criteria or policy established by the chapter for honorary membership.
- Honorary members may not serve as officers of the society. They do, however, retain all other rights and privileges of regular members.The will not be assessed due and need not be enrolled in courses at the University for initiation.
